Women of Otodo Gbame on Wednesday, April 12, stormed the Lagos High Ikeja for hearing of their case against the Lagos state government.

The women in their hundreds occupied the court premises over the demolition of their properties in Otodo Gbame community ion Lekki area of Lagos.
The women who were mainly seen sitting on the floor in various angles of the courthouse protested the activities of the Lagos state government against them and their family.
They accused the government of displacing them from their homes without prior notice.

Recall that thousand of residents were reportedly displaced after security officers and officials of the Lagos state Task Force demolished properties in Otodo Gbame.
Members of the community in anguish dragged the state government to court over the act which they referred to as humiliating and unjust.
