The special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on media and publicity, Femi Adesina has said there is no need for tension over the president’s health condition.
ZENITHBLOG.com learnt that Adesina said the God listened to Nigerians prayers and healed the President the first time and since Nigerians are still praying, the God will spare him again and return him to full health.
Adesina reportedly made this statement on Friday, April 28, during the launch of ‘Against The Run of Play, a book written by Olusegun Adeniyi, chairman of THISDAY Newspapers editorial board, Premium Times reports.
Adesina said: “Saying the president should resign is an opinion but don’t forget that fifteen million people elected the president.

“So if one or two people express their opinion, will their opinion override that of 15 million people that voted for him?
“Those who are expressing their opinion have rights to their opinion.”
Adesina said there is no need for apprehension, as God is looking over the president and will spare his life and restore his health.
He said: “God spared the president the first time. Remember he said that he has never been as ill as he was before. The same God that spared him will also ensure that he returns to full health.”
“Nigerians prayed and God answered, Nigerians are still praying and God will still answer.”

Recalled that in a earlier report by ZENITHBLOG.com, the Presidency has revealed that doctors to President Muhammadu Buhari have advised he takes things slowly due to his health.
In a series of tweets today, April 27, the special adviser to the president on media and publicity Garba Shehu said speculations in some section of the media over the president’s health is uncalled for.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, April 28, was absent as Muslim faithful and top government officials gathered inside a mosque at the Presidential Villa for the Juma’at service.
The reason for the President’s absence at the mosque was undisclosed, but there were speculations that it could be connected to his failing health.
Governors Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun State); Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara State) and Abdulahi Ganduje (Kano State) were amongst those that worshiped at the Villa Mosque.
