His Royal Highness, Eze Israel Kanu and his wife Ugoeze Sally Kanu, the parents of the embattled leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), have rejected the bail conditions given by Justice Binta Nyako of the Abuja High Court to free their son Nnamdi Kanu.
Kanu’s parents are insisting that he should be released unconditionally. Faulting Justice Binta Nyako for the bail conditions given to Nnamdi, Eze Kanu while speaking to reporters at Isiama Afaraukwu, Umuahia North Council, said while the family was happy over the bail they rejected its conditions.
The monarch said: “The bail conditions was like giving something with one hand and taking it with the other hand. The IPOB leader must be set free without any condition attached.
“The federal government should release my son unconditionally. The world should judge if the bail conditions are proper,” the monarch said.

According to Vanguard, he went on to explain that while he was happy when he received the news that his son had been granted bail by the court,
He also said it was strange that Justice Nyako asked Kanu to produce a Jewish leader as surety and wondered why a court of competent jurisdiction would demand for a citizen of another country as surety in Nigeria.
Ugoeze Sally, Kanu’s mother and her daughter Chinwe stood with the monarch as he faulted other bail conditions given to his son, including that a Senator from the South East zone produce a N100 million bail bond.
Kanu’s mother noted that if her son eventually returns home she would advise him not to abandon the agitation for the restoration of Biafra.

She said Kanu’s activities showed the problem of Biafrans in Nigeria to the world. “No retreat, no surrender; God will deliver Biafra as He delivered Israel”, she said.
Meanwhile, Nnamdi Kanu himself has also rejected the bail granted to him on Tuesday, April 25. An earlier report on An earlier report on ZENITHBLOG.com shows that Kanu had vowed to remain in Kuje prisons with his co-accused persons.
