It is the season of transparency as Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state and speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, have decided to publicly displaying their payslips for Nigerians to see.
It all started at the weekend when both politicians traded words over the anti-corruption crusade and lack of accountability in governance.
Dogara challenged Kaduna state to make public its security votes and local council expenditure.
ZENITHBLOG.com earlier reported that El-Rufai accepted the challenge and released specific details of his salary and Kaduna state security budget. He also challenged Dogara and the leadership of NASS to show Nigerians details of their budget.
Following El-Rufai’s dare, Dogara released his six months pay slip.
Let us take a look at how the February payslips of both men differ.
