Former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode is delighted at the solidarity shown by the southwest for Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of pro-Biafra group Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Fani-Kayode said the growing support for Nnamdi Kanu is a sign that the southern part of the country is coming together.
The PDP chieftain is a supporter of the breakup of Nigeria into at least two parts – the north and south.
Fani-Kayode says there is a new dawn in Southern Nigeria as support for Kanu by Yorubas grows.

He believes that the Yorubas’ support for Kanu, an Igbo man from the southeast, is some sort of evidence that the southern part of Nigeria has realized the need to work together against the north as he always preached.

ZENITHBLOG.com recalls that just days before Kanu’s bail hearing, Deji Adeyanju, a Peoples Democratic Party member Deji Adeyanju, was arrested and detained for hours by policemen for staging a protest for Nnamdi Kanu’s release on Thursday, April 20.
Adeyanju is a Kogi indigene from central Nigeria but has Yoruba origins in the Southwestern part of the country.
