A National Youth Service Corps member, Mr. Toriseju Longe has been shot dead at Oghara, Ethiope west local government area of Delta state by an unidentified gunman in front of his rented apartment.
The corps members who was serving in Imo state was said to have returned to his rented apartment in Oghara, where he stayed as a student of Western Delta University before he left for the youth service in Imo state.
ZENITHBLOG.com learnt that he returned to the community celebrate Easter with friends when the gunman who was said to be wearing a mask, struck and gunned him down.

“He was outside that night, charging his phone when the gunman suddenly emerged and shot him thrice. He then took his mobile phone, removed the SIM card and memory card before destroying the phone and disappearing into the night.
A police source in the community confirmed the death in Oghara and added that Toju’s body has been deposited in the morgue.
When contacted, Delta state police public relations officer, Andrew Ani Amaka, confirmed the death of the corps member.
