The Chairman of one of Nigeria’s airlines Chanchangi Airlines Amadu Chanchangi is dead.

Premium Times reports that Chanchangi, a Taraba-born, Kaduna-based billionaire died along Kaduna-Abuja Expressway on Wednesday, April 19, morning.
ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that a source close to the family said the billionaire died while he was being rushed to National Hospital after a protracted illness.
“He died along the road while we were rushing him to a hospital in Abuja, after a protracted illness,” the source said.
The source also said Chanchangi will be buried at 2 pm on Wednesday, April 19, at the Bashama Road Cemetery according to Islamic rites.

The source said: “He will be buried by 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) according to Islamic right at the Bashama road cemetery.”
Also some early sympathizers have visited the family of the late billionaire.
They include the deputy Senate leader Bala Ibn Na’Allah and a former member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly Mohammed Ali.
