The Emir of Bauchi Alhaji Rilwanu Suleman Adamu has called on the state government to separate boys and girls in schools.
According to Daily Trust, the emir said the move will ensure morality and preserve the future of children.
The emir made the call through a representative during a meeting of state central council of the state chapter of Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) held at the conference hall of his palace.
The emir decried the rate of immoral acts in secondary schools

He expressed concern over the increasing rate of immoral acts in some schools in the state, ZENITHBLOG.com gathered.
He also called on the state government to introduce measures aimed at improving the wellbeing of the people.
The emir also called on traders to be passionate enough to reduce the prices of their goods and services during the forthcoming Ramadan fast.
Some Islamic scholars who also attended and spoke at the meeting include; Sheikh Danazumi Musa Tafawa Balewa, Sheikh Ibrahim Idris, Sheikh Balarabe Isa, Sheikh Salihu Suleman Ningi among others who promised to contribute for the success of the group.
It is not yet known if Bauchi state governor, Mohammed Abubakar will heed to the emir’s advice
Speaking earlier, the state acting JNI secretary, Engineer Ahmad Jumba, said the meeting was to discuss on this year’s plan of action of the group to meet the present day challenges.
He commended the Emir of Bauchi as well as other traditional and religious leaders in the state for their support to the group, called on them to sustain the efforts in order to gain Allah’s blessings.

Meanwhile, the Kano state Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission have opened an investigation into the state’s emirate’s accounts over allegations of ‘questionable expenditures’.
ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that the Emir of Kano Muhammad Sanusi II and his Kano Emirate Council are under probe by the state government over alleged corruption.
