After seizing N13bn in Lagos, EFCC makes BIG vow to Nigerians on anti-corruption war

– EFCC says it feels honoured to serve Nigerian people and will do even better than it is currently doing

– The anti-corruption agency also said it has decided to keep quiet on the Osbourne Towers discovery because the matter is now in court- subjudice

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has made a massive pledge to Nigerians to serve them even better.

The anti-corruption agency made the vow in a tweet on its official Twitter handle late on Friday, April 21.

According to the Commission, it is committed to serving the country and will ensure that it does not disappoint the Nigerian people.

EFCC vows to serve Nigerians even better

EFCC boss Magu has been receiving applause over the successes that the anti-corruption agency has been recording.

It tweeted:

The EFCC also explained why the Commission has been quiet on the N13billion discovered at the Osbourne Towers in Ikoyi area of Lagos state.

agency said the matter is now subjudice because it is before the courts.

ZENITHBLOG.com recalls that the federal government’s whistle-blower policy led to a sting operation in an apartment in Ikoyi by operatives of the Commission.

The operation was carried out in the evening of Wednesday, April 12 in a residential in a four – bedroom apartment on the 7th Floor of the Osborne Towers located at 16, Osborne Road in Ikoyi.

It led to the recovery of huge cash in different currencies which totaled around N13billion in local currency estimates.
