Six weeks after Akinjide Ajisafe, delivered a get well soon card to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Abuja House in London, the presidency has thanked him for his kind gesture.

Ajisafe, had visited the London official residence on Thursday, February 16, when the president, was in the United Kingdom for a medical vacation and delivered some flowers to the president.

He had also wished Buhari blessings of good health and prayed for God to continue to guide and direct the president’s path.

The presidency in turn responded to Ajisafe’s kind gesture in a letter dated March 20th, 2017 and signed ‎by a senior special assistant to the president, Mallam Sabi’u Yusuf‎.

The letter of appreciation was presented to Ajisafe by the Nigeria embassy administrative officer, Mr Orisamakin Raphael Adewunmi, who thank him for his kind gesture.

The Embassy official also said with people like Ajisafe, Nigeria is

regaining her lost glory.

Speaking with Inside Oyo from the United Kingdom, Ajisafe said he may not like some of the policies of the present administration but as a Nigerian he owed the county the obligation to wish it well at all times.

He said he was delighted that the president acknowledged his get well letter.
