– A family of triplet in Asaba, Delta state, has pleaded with good spirited Nigerians, especially Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, to come to their aid
– The family is in dire need of assistance as it can barely take care of itself, but with the presence of the triplet, the burden has become very great
The birth of a new born in a family brings great joy but for the family of Mr. Young Azuma who hails from Oduke, a suburb of Asaba and his wife Philo Azuma who hails from Idumu-Ebor, Owa-Alero in Ika north area of Delta state, the birth of a set of triplet witnessed a mixed feeling due to the economic status of the couple.
According to Mr. Azuma, the family is not only faced with the burden of caring for the set of triplet but highly indebted to some creditors who gave them loan of over one hundred and fifty thousand naira (N150,000) to offset the medical bill from El-Comfort hospital where his wife was delivered of the babies through cesarean section.
Mr. Azuma who is in his late forty drives a rickety motorcycle popularly known as okada which is off and on the road due to its old nature. His wife Philomena occasionally hawked moi-moi but stopped when rheumatism began to plague her. She is right now a full time house wife.

Mrs. Philomena Azuma is using this opportunity to call on the Delta state governor and other well-meaning Deltans and Nigerians to come to the aid of her family and ameliorate their burden in caring for their set of triplet and her other children by providing her or her husband job.

She equally called on the member representing the Oshimili south local government constituency, Hon. Peter Onwusanya, Oshimili south Chairman, Hon. Barr. Chuks Obusom, member representing Aniocha/ Oshimili federal constituency, Hon. Onyemechi Mrakpor and member representing Ika federal constituency, Hon. Victor Nwokolo, to please come to their aid.

She expressed confidence that Governor Okowa being a kind hearted man, once alert of her situation will surely come to her aid, also called on well meaning Nigerians, religious bodies and philanthropists to came to her aid in giving life to her children.
