In a few days, 2017 Batch A Orientation Course (Stream II) will begin.
NYSC is a youth organization created after the end of the Civil War in Nigeria (1973). Its primary goal is to educate the youths in the spirit of love for their homeland, mutual assistance, work aimed at developing and restructuring of the country, as well as inculcating high cultural and social standards.
The latest news on NYSC batch A stream 2
Based on the NYSC timetable presented on the official NYSC website www.nysc.gov.ng, NYSC batch A 2017 stream 2 will begin take place between 26th July – 15th August 2017. During Stream II, 72 thousand members will be trained. The decision to release Stream 1 and Stream 2 was made after an increase in the number of NYSC members.

A lot of schools have provided submitted names of prospective NYSC members. As the members have already been registered, they need to be trained. At the same time possibilities of the training camp are limited. 150 thousand Nigerian youths have been recorded for the NYSC 2017 Batch A (Stream 1 and Stream 2). Not all of these candidates were selected.
Pay attention! In the evening of July 21, you will have the opportunity to print your invitations (call-up letters) for NYSC batch a stream 2 2017 from the official NYSC website. The portal will be opened for use.
To print letters, you need to follow three steps:
1. Enter the official website: http://ift.tt/2uItLwk
2. Type the registered email and password
3. Press “Print call-up letter”
So, according to NYSC calendar 2017, the following events will be held:
• Registration and verification of NYSC members: July 26 -27, 2017 (Wednesday-Thursday)
• Registration deadline at midnight on July 27, 2017
• Closing Ceremony of Stream 2 – August 15, 2017
The NYSC members participating in Stream 2 should confirm their orientation camps in their states of placement and be sure of the address described in the invitations (call-up letters).
