The charges against a Kwara state civil servant before a court in Ilorin has been withdrawn.
Biodun Baba was earlier arraigned for criticizing the Senate President Bukola Saraki on Facebook.
He was also sacked by the Kwara state’s civil service commission after he a made a post about the Senate President on Facebook, Sahara reporters reports.
Baba allegedly referred to the Senate President as ‘bastarrd’ on a post he made on his Facebook page.
Baba, ZENITHBLOG.com gathered, was arraigned today, July 27, before a court in Ilorin.

ZENITHBLOG.com earlier reported that a similar incident occurred when a secondary school teacher criticized a former governor of Yobe state Bukar Abba over a viral video of him and some girls.
The teacher Muhammed Kime in a Facebook post said since his election into power as a Senator, Abba has not sponsored any bill at the National Assembly.

Kime also accused a former minister of police affairs Maina Waziri of being a known drunk in the state.
Meanwhile, the Senate President had earlier said that the National Assembly is committed to the social media bill.

Saraki while speaking at the Lagos Social Media Week said the anti-social media bill is dead on arrival.
The Senate President also said without social media there is no way Nigeria would have moved from a non-performing government to what it is now.
