Troops of 28 Task Force Brigade Nigerian Army are currently at the Internally Displaced Persons Camp, Chibok, rendering free medical service to the community.
The director of Army public relations; Brigadier-General SK Usman said this is part of activities marking the Nigerian Army Day Celebration and also part of their contribution to the community.
He disclosed that since morning, the soldiers have attended to over 300 persons and still counting.

ZENITHBLOG.com earlier reported that Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai, said the Nigerian Army has contributed immensely to the democratic process in the country through robust participation in peace support and internal security operations.
He said this on Friday, June 30, at a news conference to begin the 2017 Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL), which holds on every July 6.
Some Nigerians are happy with the action of the soldiers and have commended them.
NADCEL is an annual event in honor of members of the Nigerian Army especially those who lost their lives during the 30-month civil war to keep Nigeria one.

The Nigerian Army uses the NADCEL week to reflect on its performances in the previous year, for more effective projections and performance in the following year.
