How Western Union works in Nigeria

It is quite easy and convenient to send/receive money via Western Union, all you need to do is have the required information and documents ready and then visit one of their agent banks closest to you.

There are no sole Western Union offices operating in Nigeria, so all transactions have to be done via their agent banks located in the country.

After a sender fills the required forms and hands the money over to the agent, the fund usually becomes available to the receiver the same day, who also needs to visit an agent on his own end with all necessary documents to receive his transfer.
