Take note: Nigeria will experience partly cloudy, sunny, hazy weather on Thursday, April 6

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted partly cloudy conditions over the central states of the country on Thursday.

NiMet made the prediction in the Weather Outlook by its Central Forecast Office (CFO) on Wednesday in Abuja.

It added that the region would have day and night temperature of 34 to 39 and 17 to 25 degrees Celsius, respectively.

The agency predicted that southern states would experience cloudy morning over the inland and coastal cities with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over Shaki, Ibadan, Akure, Portharcourt, Enugu, and Warri.

It also predicted that Calabar, Eket, Ikom and Obudu would be cloudy in the afternoon and evening hour with day and night temperatures of 30 to 37 and 23 to 25 degrees Celsius, respectively.

According to NiMet, northern states will experience sunny and hazy conditions in visibility of three to five kilometers with day and night temperature of 39 to 42 and 18 to 26 degrees Celsius respectively.

“High temperature and discomfort are still anticipated over most parts of the country with chances of isolated thunderstorms over the southern cities,” NiMet predicted.
