Nnamdi Kanu, leader of secessionist group Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has declared President Muhammadu Buhari’s government as a tyrannical one that must be stopped.
ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that Kanu made this accusation in a statement by IPOB spokesperson Emma Powerful on Friday, April 21 while reacting to the arrest of a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) apologist Deji Adeyanju by policemen.

According to Kanu, who also commended Adeyanju for protesting on behalf of Biafra, Africa has gone beyond the level of tyrannical and repressive governments.

The statement read: “In a society as apathetic as Nigeria, very rare breed of people can boldly stand to challenge the injustice of a judicial system frightened into obeying the dictates of a brutal dictator against every tenet and norm of democratic governance and the rule of law.

“The concerted fight against the rights of individuals, the endless humiliation of those unfortunate to find themselves in Nigeria by the security agencies especially the police and DSS under the watch of this present tyrannical All Progressives Congress, APC, government, coupled with docile and easily manipulable judiciary must be brought to an end.
“For injustice to end the entire population must rise up as one to reject it as Deji Adeyanju has tried to do. ‘’
ZENITHBLOG.com recalls that the Nigeria Police Force released Deji Adeyanju, who was arrested for staging a protest against the secret trial of Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB leader, on Thursday, April 20.
Adeyanju, who is also a convener of Concerned Nigeria group was arrested at the Unity Fountain with another leader of the movement, Brian Jonah Dennis in Abuja on Friday.
