ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that the ring leader together with his driver, Okechukwu Onwuamaegbu during the deadly operation were arrested on Friday in Aba, Abia state during the activities marking his father’s burial. They are both helping the police with investigations at the Imo state police command in Owerri. They will soon be charged to court.

Recall that the robbers had trailed a customer who came in to deposit a huge sum of money to the Zenith bank branch located along Wetheral Road, opposite Dan Anyiam Stadium. The robbery attack left five people dead while seven were injured. Out of the five people who lost their lives was one of the robbers, three bank security agents and the customer who was trailed to the bank.
