According to the Kaduna state governor Nasir El-Rufai, the state government is set to launch an online platform which will enable resident monitor the activities of public servants in the state.
While speaking during the second Kaduna Economic Investment Summit (KADInvest 2.0) El-Rufai said the platform; Eyes and Ears monitoring platform will serve as a link between the government and the people of Kaduna.

The governor said the Eyes and Ears monitoring platform will also be used as a feedback approach which will bridge the gap between residents and the state government.
ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that the need for the platform arose following Kaduna state government’s desire to communicate one-on-one with its citizens.

“We want to democratize access of our citizens to the government,” El-Rufai said.
“The platform will be available free of charge for all to download on your smart phones – Android and all… All you need to do is to visit your App store or play store and download the Eyes and Ears Monitoring platform,” the governor said.

The governor added, “If you go to a ministry and you’re insulted by a staff, all you have to do is take his or her picture and report to us.”
We expect citizens and residents to use the app to monitor government projects across the state and tell us about their progress and what you feel about the projects,” he said.

Recall that the governor had announced the launch of a 30-year infrastructural master plan for the state.
El-Rufai during the launch said the plan would help regulate the use of land for his administration and many more administrations to come.
