The registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Ishaq Oloyede on Thursday, April 13, visited the Chief of Army Staff Tukur Buratai at the Nigerian Army headquarters in Abuja.
ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that the visit by Oloyede and some staff of the examination board is a courtesy one in preparation of the forthcoming JAMB exam.
The visit comes after the tertiary examination body failed in its pilot mock JAMB test which was scheduled to hold on Saturday, April 8.

Recall that JAMB had earlier announced the date for it UTME examination.
However, postponing its mock test, JAMB said the process has opened it to lapses in the forthcoming examination.

It also announced the extension of the registration for candidates to May 5, while the UTME will begin on May 13 and end on May 20.

“Instead of the earlier announced April 19, the deadline for the sale of forms and registration will now extend to Friday, May 5, 2017. Consequently, the 2017 UTME has also been postponed to start on Saturday, May 13 – 20, 2017.
JAMB had also announced the extension of its registration for candidates to May 5
“Meanwhile, the Mock Examination earlier slated for Saturday, April 8, 2017 has been put on hold. This is because the appropriate rehearsal and test-running of the new system has been substantially achieved,” it added.
