A report by Sahara Reporters indicates that Nigeria’s secret police, the Department of State Services (DSS) allegedly has plans to shut down opposition against the present administration on social media.

According to the report, the DSS has sent a delegation to Russia to learn how to shut down social media and target users over President Muhammadu Buhari’s health.

The report also gave indications that those close to the president are panicky and confused over his health crisis.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Kwara state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Ishola Balogun-Fulani, has raised the alarm that some people close to the federal government are taking advantage of the ill health of President Buhari to destabilise his government.

The APC chieftain made the comment during a media briefing in the Kwara state capital, Illorin on Friday, June 30.
