Saraki opens up on how PDP made him Senate president

– Saraki says the actions of the APC led to its failure to keep the seat of the deputy senate president within the ruling party

– He denies agreeing to any deal with the PDP for the position of Senate President

– The former Kwara state governor said the signed proclamation by the president made it impossible to move the Senate leadership elections

Senate president Bukola Saraki has blamed the poor preparations by his party All Progressives Congress for the emergence for the emergence of Ike Ekweremadu as the deputy senate president.

Replying to tweets by a follower @irene_achamaja on Monday, May 1, Saraki noted the PDP members were all present for the Senate leadership elections while the APC members were nowhere to be found.

He noted that the story would have been different if APC members had just showed up.
