5 REALLY CHEAP ways to celebrate workers on May 1

Monday, May 1, 2017, is workers day and workers across the country take a well deserved break from the everyday bustle that has been 2017.

Can employers think of ways to show appreciation for their workers today? ZENITHBLOG.com has come up with a couple of ways you can celebrate your workers, without spending too much. Below are some of them:

1. Work-free day

Honestly, one way you can celebrate your workers is by ensuring that the day is really a work-free day. There are 364 other days in the year, when work can be done, it would be nice to have this one day totally free. Your employees will be grateful for the rest.

2. Office party

If possible, you could invite them for a party in the office. Get pizza, small chops and drinks. Some cool music and conversation, and your workers will surely go home feeling appreciated and important to the company.

4. Thank-you cards

Sometimes, a simple thank you card with a heartfelt note addressed to each employee personally can do a lot more than even parties will.

5. Workers day gifts

You can also add a gift to the cards. It doesn’t have to be expensive. Just something the employee will appreciate.
