Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have raided the home of former Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin in Anyigba, Kogi state to search for incriminating evidence against the ex-defense chief.
Usman Jibrin is under investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Vanguard reports that the search team which was led by DSP Madaki was however disappointed as it could not find anything incriminating in Jibrin’s residence.

The search team broke open a soak-away pit and the celling of the house, but still could not find anything.
Water tanks were upturned and concretes broken open
Vanguard quoted an eye witness as saying: “Fierce-looking EFCC staff stormed Jibrin’s house in Anyigba, they broke the sewage tanks and ceiling but found nothing.
Sewers were opened up too.
“The visibly looking dejected staffers of the EFCC left the area unnoticed after nothing incriminating was found.”
Recall that on November 24, 2016, the rented apartment of the former Service Chief was also raided and his property destroyed.
Even the ceilings were opened by the EFCC officials but had nothing in them.

Justice A. S. Umar of the FCT High Court granted bail to Usman Jibrin, a former chief of naval staff, and two retired rear admirals, Bala Mshelia and Sheu Ahmadu on Wednesday, September 28, in Maitama.
The trio were detained by the EFCC for alleged criminal conspiracy and fraud on Tuesday, September 27.
