Former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has lashed out at presidential spokesman Femi Adesina over his reaction to a call from President Muhammadu Buhari from the United Kingdom.
Fani-Kayode, a chieftain of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) mocked Adesina over his elation at the call and wondered what the Special Adviser to the president on media and publicity would do when the president eventually returns.
Fani-Kayode claimed that Adesina’s celebration of a mere call from his principal is a clear indication that the media aide has fallen under the curse of the presidential villa that he (Fani-Kayode) spoke of last year.
Meanwhile, government sources have revealed that access to President Muhammadu Buhari in London has been streamlined to just a few individuals who are approved by some of Nigeria’s number one citizen’s very powerful aides.
The aides have barred family members; friends and senior government officials who attempted to call or pay visits to the president in the United Kingdom.
