South-East governors held a closed door meeting with Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Nnia Nwodo in Enugu state on Sunday, February 26.
The meeting which was chaired by the Ebonyi state governor, Dave Umahi was held at the Enugu state government house.
Also in attendance at the meeting was the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, John Nnia Nwodo.

The closed-door meeting was held shortly after Ebonyi state governor, Dave Umahi emerged as the chairman of South East Governors Forum.
The purpose of the meeting is believe to be toward getting greater governmental development to the region as well taking actions toward addressing the issue of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
Governors at the meetings include the Imo state governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, Ebonyi state governor, Dave Umayi, Anambra state governor, Willie Obiano and Enugu state governor, Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

Meanwhile, the President-General of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Dr Nnia Nwodo has lamented the worsening plight of Ndigbo under President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
Nwodo raised the issue during an interaction with Igbo leaders in Lagos comprising of intellectuals, bankers and businessmen recently.
