This video captures the moment a whole village celebrates after they were liberated from the tyranny of the Islamic State.

A female villager is glad to finally pull off her veil

In the video we see a woman pulling off her veil and stomping it into the ground as others cheer her. Instantly another woman runs up, grabs the veil and sets it on fire with a lighter as the crowd roars.

The video cuts to a scene where we see a group of women enjoying their cigarettes as men merrily dance in the background.

The village could finally breathe after soldiers freed them from the despotic grasp of the Islamic State forces. Thanks to Iraqi ground troops backed by jets the good guys managed to push the terrorists away from the region.

At the same time battles were raging outside the city of Mosul, the jihadist’s last stronghold in Iraq and key position in the battle against ISIS. A US-led coalition is prepared to take the city by storm as they surround the city with packs of armored vehicles.

Attack helicopters and artillery clear the path for ground troops as they take back precious ground from the zealous jihadists.

“We will reach it today, God willing,” boldly stated Brigadier General Abbas al-Juburi of the Rapid Response force while standing just one kilometer away from the Mosul Airport.
