The Senate President Bukola Saraki on Monday, July 17, visited Sokoto state to commiserate with the state governor Aminu Tambuwal and the people over the death of a lawmaker.
Saraki who visited alongside some of his aides prayed for the repose of the soul of Abdullahi Wamakko, the lawmaker who represented Kware/Wammako federal constituency of Sokoto state at the House of Representatives.

“May the Almighty grant the dear and departed Hon. Abdullahi Wamakko Al Jannah Firdaus,” Saraki said.

The House of Representatives member was later buried in Sokoto on Friday, July 14, after his body was airlifted from Abuja.
