The Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose has said that it is important for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to cease existing in Nigeria.
Fayose while speaking at the Peoples Democratic Party’s national Caucus meeting in Abuja on Monday, July 17, said the party is back to inherit the APC.
Speaking on the judgement of the Supreme Court on the matter between the sacked PDP chairman Ali Modu-Sheriff, four others and the party, the governor said: “What we have done is not as important as what have to do.”

APC must die! APC must die so that PDP can inherit it.
If your father is still alive he can only dash you something you cannot inherit anything from him until he dies,” Faysoe said.

If there was no old testament, there wouldn’t have been any need for the new testament; these people must go!
The governor further advised his party members to go back to their states and wards to ensure that PDP comes back stronger.

Fayose said: “Now that the coast is clear, we must leave Abuja and transfer to our various states.
If this party must be restored, our leaders must go home and stop being Abuja politicians,” Fayose said.

The governor while appreciating all members of the party for their efforts all through the 14 months leadership tussle, prayed for the former president Goodluck Jonathan.
He said: “You will live long, you will be honoured more than ever before.
Also speaking, the national secretary for the PDP Board of Trustees Aminu Wali assured the party members that PDP has come back only to take over power from the ruling party.

Wali said: This is a new PDP, we have come to take over power from the APC.”
And to do this we must beware of the mistakes that we made that caused us to loose power; come 2019, PDP will take over power,” Wali added.
ZENITHBLOG.com earlier reported that former president Jonathan said it is heartwarming to know that Nigerians still believe in PDP.
Jonathan also called on all members to work together to ensure that the PDP is strengthened.
