Nigerians have demanded the federal government to promote culture and tourism in the country They said culture is as an instrument of peace and unity.

An anthropologist Edward Burnett Tylor said culture is complex which includes knowledge, beliefs and any other capabilities.

It is said that culture is the way of life, especially the general customs and beliefs of a particular group of people at a particular time.

Culture has been defined and explained in so many ways and by so many people but according to me I would define culture as the habit, arts and customs that bind a particular society or nation together.

It began from the days of our forefathers where they possess the same cloths, eat the same food, speak the same language, belief in one thing and many more and if we think deeply, read wild and summaries well we would realise that all the words used in describing culture are all talking about this three words Regular, Same And Love.

I don’t know if you will agree that with me. For example the Yoruba’s culture, when the male want to greet their elders they prostrate while the female go on their kneels so we can see that this is regularly done between them and in the same way with love.

Every ethnic group in Nigeria and in the world has their own cultures which are binding them together as one. Culture is very strong and it makes people feel happy when they meet their brothers outside.

A Fulani man can identify a Fulani person through dressing and altitude and through this the both of them would be happy.

In a society where there is culture they would live together happily, share things together, marry themselves, eat the same food, wear the same attires, and speak the same languages, they are guided by the same rules and regulation and many more so with this they would be peace and unity between them and this is also applied to a nation where different ethnic groups live together, share things and even marry themselves and many more.

Nigeria is a nation with so many ethnic groups and different cultures and we would see that an Igbo man can marry a Yoruba woman and they would live together happily to understand themselves and even in Nigeria different ethnic groups do leave together and they would be peace between them.
