The acting president, Yemi Osinbajo, visited the Garki Model Market in Abuja on Friday, May 26, to have an interactive session with traders.

The Punch reports that Osinbajo had the one-on-one interaction with the traders in the company of some government officials.

Though, no official statement has been made about the visit, there are suggestions that Osinbajo who chairs the economic management team may use the visit to access the feelings of the ordinary Nigerian about the policies of the government.

Meanwhile, as part of the celebration of this year Children’s Day celebration, the acting President Yemi Osinbajo today May 26, hosted some children from public schools in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in his office at Aso Villa.

ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that after welcoming the children into his office, Osinbajo gave them the opportunity to ask questions bordering on electricity, education, the future, economy, corruption among others.

According to Senior Special Assistant to the acting president, Laolu Akande said in his tweets that, “Osinbajo in commemoration of the Children’s day is now meeting with a group of 23 children from Abuja schools in his office.
