Nigerians have reacted on social media as President Buhari did not attend the federal executive meeting today May 3.

Egbo Christian in his reaction said: “Some are saying pray for him. I said why are we praying when he has not admitted that he is sick.He does not need prayer. He only needs to resign for his own good to survive. If PMB loves himself, he should resign and rest and stop holding this nation to ransom.”

On his part, Okofu Tony said: “It is obvious that the president is sick and unable to carry out the functions of his

office therefor, he should save us from further embarrassment by resigning immediately or the national assembly should wake up to it’s responsibility by commencing impeachment proceedings against him.”

Meanwhile the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) advised President Muhammadu Buhari to seek further treatment, if that would restore his sound health and help to pilot the country’s affairs.

The CAN president, Rev. Samson Olasupo, gave the advice through a communique issued on Tuesday, May 2, by his special assistant on media, Pastor Bayo Oladeji, at the just concluded 104th annual session of the Nigeria Baptist Convention held in Abuja.
