– A flight from Russia to Thailand was rocked by severe turbulence
– The situation left 27 people injured
– Some had broken bones and internal bleeding
Very heavy turbulence caused 27 passengers on a flight to suffer injuries.
These range from slight bruises to bone fractures.
Two people even had to undergo urgent surgery after emergency landing.
Reports from passengers on an Aeroflot flight from Russia to Bangkok, Thailand, say those without seat belts were hurled around the cabin, about an hour before landing.
Three of those injured were babies, who were thrown off their mothers’ arms, and suffered major injuries.

A video of the frightful moment was taken and it shows people being thrown off their seats, while food and other loose elements were strewn around the
The force of the severe turbulence came unannounced and there was no time for the crew to alert the passengers.
The person posting the video, Evgenia Zibrova, commented that “numerous air pockets one hour before landing led to broken bones, internal and external bleeding.”

Meanwhile, back in Nigeria, repairs are still underway, to see that the Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport in Abuja is brought up to standard.
