– The summit demanded that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration must abandon its opposition to the implementation of the document

The Forum of delegates of the 2014 National conference has urged President Muhammaed Buhari and All Progresive Congress (APC) to put in place measure to implement the reports of conference to avert crisis before 2019 election.

In reaction to the conference they have said that the 2019 general elections should be conducted on the basis of a new and truly federal constitution.

The delegates in Abuja declared on Tuesday May 2 that the implementation of the report was the irreducible minimum to move Nigeria forward and build a nation that works for the citizenry.

In a statement signed by their chairman,

deputy and secretary, Olu Falae, Alani Akinrinade and Kunle Olajide, the delegates urged the Federal Government to initiate the process for the National Assembly to pick up the report submitted to the immediate past legislative chambers for implementation.

ZENITHBLOG.com recently reported that a group under the aegis of South-East Youths for Good Governance, on Thursday, February 9, urged political leaders in the zone to heed the call by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, that it was the turn of Ndigbo to produce the president in 2019.

This was disclosed by Comrade Agusi Ndubueze, the national coordinator of the group, in Owerri, Imo state capital.

Ndubueze said he was surprised that some Igbo leaders turned down such an opportunity that the zone has been looking for.
