The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ethiope West Council Area, Delta state Diick Onisuru has reportedly died in a ghastly motor accident, Punch reports.
ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that Onisuru died in a motor accident along Agbarho/Ughelli section of the East West road on Wednesday, May 24.
Onisuru was said to have been returning from Port Harcourt after a private business trip when the mishap happened.

A source within the party said Onisuru had held a stakeholders’ meeting of members and party leaders in the local government area.

He said the meeting was aimed at strengthen the party for the forthcoming council election in the state.

Omoghene said Onisuru before his death was storng pillar for the APC in the state.
He said the APC chairman’s death was not just a loss to his family but to the party.
ZENITHBLOG.com had reported that a former chieftain of the Progressives Peoples Alliance (PPA) Ndukwe Ikoh predicted that the APC will crumble if President Muhammadu Buhari dies.

Ikoh said President Buhari is the ‘tiny string’ holding the party together and that the party will be destroyed if the president dies.
