“I have a large collection of vintage handbags, while living in the UK. I went to market and bought my favorite bag. But despite the large collection, I still was missing something. And then I decided to create this missing part.”

Zainab decided to work with the skin of goats, sheep, pythons and crocodiles processed by local craftsmen. Sometimes sewing one bag takes up to 80 hours. But the result has not kept itself waiting long.

Now Zainab has its own employees. Over the month, its workshop manufactures 30-35 products.

Zashadu bags are sold in Nigerian shops, and abroad. Zaynab friends have become fans of her brand and then loyal customers.

“She is a very creative, very determined, passionate about their work. I’m glad that these bags are born” – her friend.
