It was a galore of protest on Tuesday, September 5, at the popular Unity Fountain in Abuja.
More than three different group were at the Unity Fountain for various protest reasons.
Some of these groups include: Center for Civil Society and Justice which rallied for a united Nigeria; the National Association for Nigerian Students which protested against the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and a faction of NANS which protested against the presidency of the association.

The Unity Fountain which is now known for its usefulness for protesting Nigerians was filled to the brim as protesters thronged in their hundreds scattered all over the arena.

The protesters were also met with security operatives from different agencies including the Police, the Department of State Security and officials of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

However, the most interesting part of it was that majority of the protesters were brought in various trucks and buses into the Unity Fountain.

Some of the protesters who carried their brooms and APC flags chanted songs like: Sai Buhari, Sai Buhari from the vehicles even before alighting from the vehicles.

Upon arrival there were bags of sachet (pure water) ready for the protesters at the fountain.
