The Nigeria Police Force on Thursday, August 3, said it had arrested and paraded suspected kidnappers terrorizing Kaduna-Abuja highway.

The Police disclosed this in a statement via Facebook.
One of those who reacted to the arrests on Facebook stated that the police should extend their operations to Owerri / Portharcourt Highway (Umuapu Ohaji).

The user noted that the rate of kidnapping and other vices in Nigeria had become very alarming.
ZENITHBLOG.com had written earlier that the police announced arrest of 32 suspects on Monday, July 31.
It said the arrested persons were behind the various kidnapping incidences on the Abuja-Kaduna expressway.
Spokesman of the Nigeria Police Jimoh Moshood confirmed the arrest in a statement.
