For all those who do not know how busy President Buhari has been since his return from the United Kingdom (UK), the Presidency has released photo evidences.

Personal assistant to Buhari on new media Bashir Ahmad released a numerous pictures of the President’s activities from Monday, August 21 to Friday, August 25.

President returned to Nigeria from his medical vacation to the UK at some minutes past 4pm on Sunday, August 20. Since then, he had been busy.

Monday

One of the photos released by Ahmad is that of the President’s short nationwide broadcast which woke up Nigerians early on Monday.

Tuesday

On Tuesday, President Buhari had a special meeting with the service chiefs over security concerns that developed across the country in his absence.

Wednesday

On Wednesday, August 23, the president cancelled the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting in order to receive a corruption report on suspended secretary to government of the federation David Lawal Babachir and suspended spy chief Ayo Oke.

The report was prepared and handed over to President Buhari by vice president Yemi Osinbajo who was head of the investigative committee.

Thursday

On August 24, President Buhari signed bilateral agreements that will improve the administration’s anti-corruption drive. One of the agreements is believed to cause recovery of assets which are proceeds of corruption.

Also on Thursday, President Buhari received US and UK representatives at the State House in Abuja.

Friday

On Friday, August 25, President Buhari met with representatives of political parties including from the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

After meeting with political party leaders, President Buhari also met with the 36 state governors on Friday.

Recall that ZENITHBLOG.com had reported that President Buhari returned to Nigeria on Saturday, August 19 after over 100 days in the UK where he was on medical vacation.
