A Nigerian boy who went missing a few days ago in Rome while on pilgrimage has received blessings from Pope Francis at the Pope Paul VI Hall.
The young boy identified as Thierry Okenze Aguguom who went missing while he and his parents were touring the Vatican City on their trip to Rome on pilgrimage.
According to the young boy’s father, he was found and rescued by a good Samaritan who brought him to them as they were searching for him in panic.
In a post shared by the father, Pope Francis who was unaware of the troubles the family went through earlier walked up to him and blessed him.
The father said his son was touched, kissed, hugged and blessed by the Pope.
He further added that the incident happened during a general audience at the Pope Paul VI Hall, Vatican City.
