A Nigerian police officer based in Kogi state identified as Usman Shugaba has been promoted from Deputy Superintendent to Superintendent in the state.
In his speech, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state showered the officer with praises while he administered the oath of office to Shugaba.
Bello expressed that the position given to Shugaba is one of great responsibilities.
The officer who was promoted for his efficiency and integrity in the force received praises from a Nigerian identified as Petra Akinti Onyegbule.

According to the Facebook user, Shugaba who was elated at the promotion ceremony thanked the police commission for honouring him.
The new Superintendent received the honour in the presence of his wife and children. His wife Farida Baba Garba was also thanked for her support to the force.
