Woman calls out Governor Okowa over the state of hospitals in Delta state (photos)

ZENITHBLOG.com earlier reported that Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, welcomed his first granddaughter on his 58th birthday, yesterday, July 8, 2017.

While many people took to social media to congratulate the new mother and the happy grandparents, a certain Facebook user has used the opportunity to point out the divide between the rich and the poor.

The Facebook user, Elsie Halima Ijorogu-Reed, noted that while the governor’s granddaughter was born in a foreign hospital, Delta state indigenes have to suffer through darkness and poor facilities to birth their own babies.

She mentioned that most of the hospitals have to use rechargeable torchlights due to lack of power supply.

IRONY OF LIFE!! THE RICH VS THE POOR!! OKOWA’S FAMILY IN HOSPITAL VS DELTAN PATIENTS. Torch lights are used to deliver babies. In some hospitals patients urinate in containers.”
