– Biafra agitators are unhappy with governors of south-south and south-east
– They accused the governors of being selfish by opposing the agitation for secession
Biafra agitators have shown their disappointment in south-east and south-south governors who recently met to deliberate on their demand for a restructured Nigeria.
Most south-south and south-east indigenes do not find the governors loyalty to ‘one Nigeria’ pleasant and they made their displeasure known on social media.
ZENITHBLOG.com brings to you some comments of social media users reacting to the recent governors meeting at Nike Lake resort, Enugu.
Emmanuel Mobis wrote: “Hmmm! They’ve met to plan against their land…but the never met against Fulani herdsmen when they killed our brothers…In one way they shall gather, but in seven ways they shall scatter. Biafra all the way.”
Another Facebook user, Domnic Baba Ubah said: “I told you people not to trust those fools called governors, they are all selfish politicians. They want to present restructure to all Anambra election to go on and after that, they go their private ways.
“How many times has debate for a restructured Nigeria come up, how many times have national conference has been held? What has happened after that.
We support the northerners, there will be restructuring now, only referendum is the panacea. No referendum, no Anambra election. QED.”

However, some south-south indigenes are unhappy with their governors for joining south-east governors to discuss Biafra agitation.
Godwin Idemudia wrote: “You can go with Five states no problem…but to select only oil producing state from Niger-delta and add it to unfertile Biafraland and keep the rest country empty. This has become fraud. The North, South and west we rather go for 2nd civil war….
“Nigeria we turned Libya. America we back off.. UN we not even have your time because they in Syria already…. Referendum we never hold…Who we give room for it. If Niger-delta is out of Nigeria. No more pay for Nigeria Army so they just watched”

Meanwhile, pro-Igbo group, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has cautioned Nnamdi Kanu and members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to tread carefully in their agitation for secession.
The group said Igbo elders believed that a restructured Nigeria will serve the Igbos better than a new country of their own.
Ohanaeze, however said that the pro-Igbo organisation will consider joining the agitation for Biafra, only if restructuring fails or the south-east region experienced what happened in 1966 again.
