The presidency has faulted an online publication quoting the minister of justice, Abubakar Malami, as saying that Acting President Yemi Osinbajo should be held responsible for a statement credited to him by the Senate.
“”The endorsement by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo of the continuous stay of Ibrahim Magu as EFCC chairman was not a collective decision,” Premium Times had quoted the minister of justice, Abubakar Malami as saying on Wednesday, July 5.
The official Twitter handle of the presidency frowned at the publication, saying the minister was misrepresented by Premium Times.

A second tweet went on to clarify the true position of the minister’s statement.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Kwara state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Ishola Balogun-Fulani, has raised the alarm that some people close to the federal government are taking advantage of the ill health of President Buhari to destabilise his government.
The APC chieftain made the comment during a media briefing in the Kwara state capital, Illorin on Friday, June 30.
