Following the death of the wife of the of the All Progressives Congress (APC) founding national chairman Bisi Akande, key members of the party have convened in Osun state to pay a condolence visit to the party chieftain, the Cable reports.
Among those who visited were the acting president Yemi Osinbajo, national leader of the APC Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the national chairman of the party John Odigie-Oyegun, the governor of Osun state Rauf Aregbesola, and his Oyo state counterpart Abiola Ajimobi.
The APC chieftains also attended the final burial ceremony held for Akande’s wife.

Chief Akande, who is also a former governor of Osun state, lost his wife Omowunmi on Monday July 10.
She passed away at the University College Hospital,Ibadan.
She was aged 73.

Meanwhile, ZENITHBLOG.com previously reported that president Muhammadu Buhari sent a condolence message to Chief Bisi Akande whose wife Omowunmi Akande passed away on Monday, July 10.
The president reportedly called the chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to condole with him over the death of his wife and followed it with a message.
