The Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) has revealed that the sum of N32.5 billion looted fund were recovered from Nigerians between 2006 to 2017.
ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that most of the recovered money were in cash and landed properties.
Below is the breakdown of the recovered loot according to an info-graphics presented by the Transparent IT NG:
1) N28.7 billion recovered
2) N50 million estimated value of farmland recovered
3) N1.47 billion estimated value of uncompleted buildings
4) N415.8 million estimated value of plots of land recovered
5) N1.35 billion estimated value of completed buildings recovered
6) N546 million estimated value of vehicles recovered

Meanwhile, ZENITHBLOG.com earlier reported that based on the proposed law currently awaiting second reading in the House of Representatives, looters of Nigerian treasury may get “full and complete amnesty”.
The features of the proposed law will grant looters the opportunity to escape any form of probe, inquiry or prosecution after fulfilling certain conditions.
The said looters shall not be forced by any Nigerian authority to disclose source of the looted funds.
