A successful tailor and designer, Victor Solomon Madukpe has called on unemployed Nigerian youths to shun kidnapping and other forms of crimes in spite of the current economic condition.
In what might seem like a reference to now celebrated kidnapper, Evans, Victor said while some people were seeking illegal means to make money, he channelled his interest to learning how to sew clothes and mastered it in three months.

In an exclusive report to ZENITHBLOG.com, he said he learnt the craft at Alaba Market and the knowledge has taken him to Abuja where he is making money.

“Some guys are somewhere busy kidnapping, stealing, joining cults and bombing themselves maybe due to frustration of no job. But I’m here busy doing fashion, I’m also a graduate… An aspiring grasscutter farmer… Guys, go and find something to lay your hands on.

“It started when I was doing my second year in ABSU. We were on indefinite strike action then (which finally lasted for 6 months). Before then, I was building shoes, but things were difficult.
“Knowing that clothing is a basic need, and coupled with my love for crafts, I had to move down to Aba and acquire the skill and became perfect within 3 months.

“Besides having in mind for doing my own wears, I knew it was a great opportunity for me to excel in the labour market. Today, it has taken me to Abuja where I’m currently operating from, WITH THE SAME MADE IN ABA IDEOLOGY.”
