The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu on Wednesday, May 24, visited South-South activist and the former spokesperson for the Ijaw Republican Assembly Ann-Kio Briggs.
The visit ZENITHBLOG.com gathered is to foster a unity between the South-South and the South-East region in Nigeria.

The meeting took place in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
However, the IPOB leader was also in Aba, Abia state’s commercial city before heading to Port Harcourt.

A source within the IPOB leader told ZENITHBLOG.com that the meeting between Kanu and Briggs is in furtherance of arrangement for the forthcoming sit-at-home protest scheduled by the Biafra group, IPOB, on May 30.

This visit comes after the IPOB leader had also received many other visitors including the former governor of Imo state Ikedi Ohakim who paid courtesy visits to Kanu in his hometown in Isiama Afara, Umuahia, Abia state.
