Acting President Yemi Osinbajo paid a visit to Ekiti state today, Saturday, May 20 to pay tribute to late General Adebayo who was buried in the southwest state.
Osinbajo was received by state governor Ayodele Fayose and his Ondo state counterpart Rotimi Akeredolu.
The photos were shared by Fayose’s special assistant on new media Lere Olayinka on Saturday afternoon.

Osinbajo was in Ekiti to pay last respect to late General Adebayo.

Late Robert Adeyinka Adebayo was a Major-General in the Nigerian Army who served as governor of the now defunct Western State of Nigeria between 1966–1971.
He was also Chief of Staff of the Nigerian Army and was Commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy
Osinbajo was received by governors Akeredolu and Fayose of Ondo and Ekiti states
Osinbajo is in charge of Nigeria until when President Buhari returns
Meanwhile, ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on national assembly matters, Ita Enang, has clarified his initial statement that “has clarified his initial statement that “Mr President will assent the budget.”
The special adviser has recanted, saying acting President Yemi Osinbajo will sign the budget.
According to him, Osinbajo “is now the president here” to assent the 2017 budget.
