Poor African man who was asking if a drone can take him to Mecca gets his dream fulfilled

ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that a poor African man who was hoping to go on a pilgrimage to the holy land of Mecca, saw his dreams materialise due to help from Turkey.

According to reports, a Ghanaian man identified as Al-Hassan Abdullah, experienced what can best be described as a miracle after his dreams of going to the Muslim holy land were fulfilled.

Abdullah who will now be participating in the Hajj starting on August 30, 2017, after some Turkish people came to his aid, had asked a TV crew if “a drone can take him to Mecca“.

The TV crew had been flying a drone in Abdullah’s village when he asked if the had a bigger one that could possibly take him to Mecca. His story hit social media, prompting the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, and charities to step into the situation, granting him his desire.

Speaking on his ‘miracle’, Abdullah who arrived Istanbul from Accra, told the Anadolu Agency that he was happy to be in Turkey. He said:

I am grateful to God and I pray to everyone who helped this dream come true. Turkish state’s assistance is valuable for me and I believe this will help improve friendship, brotherhood between Muslims.

Speaking on how Abdullah’s little miracle happened, Cihad Gökdemir, the deputy chairman of the charity who welcomed him at the airport said:

Then, people started to seek a way to reach out to him, from businesspeople to companies. Finally, a Turkish police officer from Turkish embassy in Ghana contacted him. He is grateful to Turkish people.”
